Gourd Art "Wormhole"

Lidded bushel basket gourd commissioned by Richard Stodart to incorporate aspects of sacred geometry with the gourd's earthy beauty. Black and cordovan leather dyes with natural wax finish, pyroengraved, African bone beads, pine needles and cotton yarn. Gourd stem serves as lid handle and wormhole left in tact. 14" diameter.
